Who We Are: A Community Built on Hope

Hope Hub is more than just an organization; it is a movement born from a simple but powerful idea: no one should have to navigate the path to recovery alone. We are a collaborative network of Missouri's most dedicated non-profit and for-profit recovery organizations, unified by a single mission. Founded through a partnership between New Beginning Sanctuary, Simmering Center, and Choice Recovery, our collective was created to break down barriers and eliminate the confusion of finding the right help.

We believe that by bringing the best resources under one roof and one digital umbrella, we can create a stronger, healthier community.

Our central location in Springfield at 550 S. Scenic Ave serves as a physical anchor for this mission—a welcoming front door to a new beginning.

  • Lasting recovery begins with a safe, stable, and substance-free environment. Our sober living partners provide structured homes where individuals can focus entirely on their healing without the triggers and instability of their previous surroundings. This pillar is about more than just housing; it’s about building a new life from the ground up through accountability, peer support, and learning the daily habits that sustain sobriety.

  • For many, spiritual health is a cornerstone of a powerful and lasting recovery. This pillar offers a path to healing through a supportive, faith-based community. Our partners provide a welcoming, judgment-free space for individuals to explore their faith, find a deeper sense of purpose, and connect with a spiritual family that understands and encourages their journey. It's a place to heal the spirit while healing the body and mind.

  • Isolation is one of the greatest challenges in recovery. Our community center partners are dedicated to proving that a sober life is a full and vibrant life. These centers act as safe, energetic hubs for people in recovery to connect with others, find peer support, and participate in sober events, classes, and meetings. This pillar is essential for building new, healthy friendships and discovering that you are truly part of a larger community that cares.

  • Navigating the practical and emotional aspects of recovery requires expert guidance. This pillar connects individuals to vital recovery support services, including peer coaching, support groups, and connections to clinical resources. Our partners in this area are the navigators of the journey, offering personalized, one-on-one support to help individuals set goals, overcome obstacles, and develop the coping skills necessary for long-term success.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hope Hub is a central resource designed to simplify the search for recovery support in Missouri. • There is absolutely no cost to use Hope Hub as your guide. Our role is to connect you with our network of partners, and this referral and connection service is completely free to the community. Please note that our individual partners, such as sober living homes or specialized service providers, have their own fee structures for the direct services they provide.

  • Yes, absolutely. Your privacy is a top priority for us. All initial inquiries made directly to Hope Hub are held in the strictest confidence. When we connect you to one of our trusted partners, they will have their own privacy and confidentiality policies in place, which they will share with you. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure starting point for your journey.

  • No, not at all. Hope Hub is a diverse network built on the principle of choice. We are proud to partner with faith-based organizations like Sanctuary Church for those who find strength and healing in a spiritual path. However, we also partner with many secular and community-based organizations. Our mission is to connect you with the program that best fits your personal beliefs, values, and recovery goals.

  • The first step is the most important, and we make it simple. You can begin by exploring our "Collaborators" page to see the different types of support available. If you're unsure where to start or feel overwhelmed, simply reach out to us through our Contact Page. We can help guide you to the organization that best fits your immediate needs.

  • Hope Hub itself does not provide direct clinical services like medically-supervised detox or inpatient therapy. Our function is to serve as a warm and reliable connection to our partners who do. This network includes partners who offer the full spectrum of care, from clinical services and structured sober living to peer support and faith-based guidance.

  • Our physical hub is located at 550 S. Scenic Avenue in Springfield, Missouri, which is the home of Scenic Church. This address serves as a central, welcoming front door to our network. While many of our collaborators have their own locations throughout the state, our Springfield hub acts as a tangible point of contact for the community we serve.

  • Supporting a loved one through addiction and recovery is a challenging journey, and your well-being matters, too. Many of our partners offer resources specifically for families, including support groups, educational materials, and guidance on how to provide healthy support without enabling. We encourage you to contact us, and we can help direct you to the resources that will best support both your loved one and you.

  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency or are in immediate danger, please call 911 immediately. Hope Hub is a resource for connection to long-term support and is not a 24/7 crisis hotline. For immediate mental health or substance use crisis support, you can call or text the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. Once you are safe, we are here to help you find the next steps for ongoing recovery.
